Nonsense. He needs to playing more though.

Re: Diangana
I like him but he'll struggle getting in front of Antonio & Yamolenko so send him to one of the better championship teams

Re: Diangana
Bit early to say. If Yarmo gets pushed up to striker as has been suggested here, then it'd make sense to keep him around for at least half a season.

Re: Diangana
he's decent with both feet so I'd have him as a back up to anderson, snodgrass is better inside

Re: Diangana
He has everything to make the grade just needs to perfect how he does the most damage when he gets himself into the good positions he does. A step down a league would do him a lot of good to bring this factor to his game.

Re: Diangana
Personally I think he looks bright when he receives the ball but loses it every time. Apart from Macclesfield I can't remember him being remotely dangerous.

Manchester United at home, he was excellent.

He's still a kid, he has the ability but needs to bulk up a bit.

Reminds me a bit like Sterling when he first broke through

No. We will need a 4th choice wide man so it might as well be him.

Re: Diangana
I think Holland and Browne are probably better suited to the PL . Holland seems to dance round people and has good balance. Browne has more power and skill. But he may have a bit of an attitude problem. Rio was singing his praises earlier in the season at Oxford.Think Diangana may have a similar problem too. The pre-season will probably see one of those retained maybe two if they really impress Pellegrini and his staff. Diangana stepped ahead of both due to injuries to each at that crucal moment. Not sure Diangana has progressed that much since the turn off the year. Browne went out on loan. Oxford want him back but a good championship team could take hime for 6 months. No point sending him to a struggling team again.

Re: Diangana
There's nothing wrong with Diangana's attitude, seems very humble and doesn't lack effort - he's also shown on occasions that he has ability.

The problem for me, seems to be one of confidence, he can be a bit rabbit in the headlights at times and this leads to him not be decisive enough and choosing the wrong option or not being forceful enough when running at defenders.

Let's hope out of Browne, Diangana and Holland at least one of them can really push on this coming season.

Re: Diangana
Too lightweight for me, gets pushed off the ball too easily. Like his skill but not sure he is premier league class

I reckon Grady is a bit shy, needs a bit more confidence and have a go a bit more

Re: Diangana
He was very confident at first.

Get that back, and I reckon he'll be something special

I can see Pellegrini bring through to be a top player. I’m surprised he has not scored yet.

Sum
I've seen him play for the U23's a couple of times recently and thought although he played well he seemed to be saying he shouldn't be there. His shooting was woeful in one game.Hope I'm wrong because he did look good when he first emerged,a breath of fresh air.

Re: Diangana
Daveg,

Of course he wouldn't be happy dropping back to the U23's. And anyway, didn't he score against Everton when we beat them?

If he had an attitude problem you'd see it from the off. If anything, he lacks that bit of 'attitude', that wingers have that makes them get the ball and go at defenders.

He needs binging out of his shell, to the player that first come on the scene.

What the actual fuck?

Why not?

Re: Diangana
ED,

The U23's is a glorified youth team. I'd want him to be unhappy going back there after being around the first team. His so called 'bad attitude' got him a goal and a win against the U23's champions, the other week.

His problem is belief and confidence. He needs it back otherwise he'll fall away - he's a winger he should be a bit cocky, instead he goes into his shell.

Re: Diangana
You're fucking mental if you think a young player should be unhappy at going back to the youth team after a couple of 1st team games. Fucking hell.

I'm not saying he's got an attitude, I'd actually slightly agree about a lack of confidence, but I see a lack of proper desire. He has talent, but I'm not sure he has enough to compensate. Let's hope he has, would be great for the club.
